LINKED Permanent Jewelry Training & Supplies

Permanent jewelry is applied with a welding machine made specifically for fragile metals. After the client has been sized for the right amount of slack, the spark welds together a jump ring that replaces the need for a clasp (clasp-less jewelry).

Clients typically don't feel a thing. The spark is tiny and quick, a leather patch sits between the chain and the skin, and everyone wears protective eyewear. The course covers safe technique step by step.

The chains are thin enough to last but not thick enough to cause harm if they get caught on an object. If the jewelry needs to come off for any reason, simply snip it with a pair of scissors. Most pieces can be rewelded later.

Very little. A gentle wash with mild dish soap and water every week or two, plus a polishing cloth, keeps it looking its best.

It can stay on for everyday life. If it ever needs to come off for surgery or an MRI, snip it with scissors and have it rewelded later. Always follow your medical team's instructions.

Permanent jewelry is designed for everyday wear and will stand the test of time, but it is not invincible. It is still fine jewelry.

The online permanent jewelry course is about 7 to 8 hours of pre-recorded video across 21 modules. Finish it in a weekend or spread it over a couple of weeks. You set the pace, and you keep lifetime access.

It depends on your state, county, and city, so check with your local licensing office and a CPA. Many artists also get an EIN, and insurance is optional but recommended. The course includes client waivers. Your LINKED certificate shows you completed our training. It isn't a government license.
