Permanent Jewelry Machines
A permanent jewelry welder is a small pulse arc welder that fuses a jump ring closed, so the piece has no clasp. Every welder here is made for permanent jewelry work with gold filled and sterling silver chain. The right one comes down to your budget, how many events you run, and how much reach you want for anklets and necklaces. Not sure yet? Book a call with our team and we'll help you choose. ✨

- Helix: compact and more portable, with a 6 ft reach and a 3 year warranty.
- Zapp Plus 2.0: lightweight and more portable, with a 6 ft stylus cord, a 1 to 30 joule dial that locks in your setting, and a 3 year warranty.
- Orion mPulse 2.0: Sunstone's flagship for high volume artists, with 3 ground ports, fine energy control and a 3 year warranty.
Do I need argon? No. Every welder here accepts argon, but none of them require it. We cover when it helps in the training.
Should I buy a kit or the machine only? Every starter kit comes with the same chain, tools and full online training. The only difference is the welder. If you're just starting out, a kit is the easiest way to get everything in one order. If you already have your supplies and training, the machine only is all you need.
